Pictures

It has taken me forever but I finally got the rest of Bailey's pictures framed. I love framing pictures, I love picking out frames and mattes, and adding little details like the inner gold frame around the picture, which isn't cheap let me tell ya. But I love these I think that they turned out really great and will look great on the shrine that I have for my children in my living room. These pictures we're taken by Betsy, a friend of mine from high school, she does some amazing work, thanks Betsy. I also got Campbell's 3 month pic's. I just love them, she looks so beautiful. I have their picture taken every 3 months the first year because they change so much. I just love having these pictures to look back upon, especially now that Bailey is 5 I have realized how fast it really fly by.

These are my two all time favorite pictures of Bailey, I love how her hair is flying over face in the one below.

I already had the frame so I had the bottom picture trimmed just a bit so I could get them both in the frame, and I always use a black matte, its just classy no matter what the picture.

This is Baily's 3 month picture.

This is Bailey as well also at three months. It's a collage of her hands, face, and feet.

This is Campbell's 3 month collage, a bit different but done by the same photographer.

Is this not the sweetest picture. Miss Campbell at 3 months.

Drama Queen and Cereal

So it's been about two weeks since we first started cereal and we're not much further than the day we started. Campbell is pretty much having nothing to do with it. As you will see in the video she is just like her sister, a major drama queen. She had been eating a few bites before the video was taken and was swallowing without gagging, but as soon as the video camera was on she was ready to put on a show. I am still trying, but not pushing the feedings but she really doesn't not seem to like it. I then tried carrots and bananas and she didn't care for either of them either. So I guess we will just keep tryin. We go to the doctor on the 31st so I guess we will see what she has to say. I hope this doesn't mean that she is going to be a very picky eater. She did however love chewing on her spoon as long as their was no food on it. And I am so glad that we just got naked for this event, since most of the food came right back out anyway.

Please remeber no children were harmed in the making of this video, this is just really good acting.

Curls and Hairbows

Thank goodness there is a God. I have prayed and prayed for this day to return again, yes it has happened, Bailey will let me curl her hair with a curling iron. It's amazing I know, it's what every mother dreams of , I think. I used to curl her hair when she was younger but ever since I accidentally burned her ear, awful I know, she wont let me touch her with a curling iron. So I have let it go all this time but the other day I tried just doing her ponytail and I guess she thought it wasn't to bad, so before I knew it we had done her whole head, awesome. So this is day 2 of curling our hair, she says it makes her look like a princess and of course my response, yes it does sweetheart. Bailey's hair has gotten crazy thick in the last year, it took 3 layers to get all this curled.

Doesn't she look precious, my minni me is back.

So Saturday night I decided that I was going to sit down and make some bows and 4 hours later this is what I had done, 4 flower clips and 6 bows. I am trying to coordinate these with outfits so the girls can be matchy matchy, I will have to get a pic soon. Campbell is now pulling her bows and headbands off so I may be doing all this for nothing. But Bailey loves having a big bow in her curled hair now, she is so funny. One minute she wants curls and bows and the next she wants to play in the dirt, love it.

Our Life

So there isn't much excitement around her just alot going on. Bailey is loving softball and has practice 2 nights a week and now her coach is talking about Saturday practices as well, craziness. And just the hustle and bustle of life is keeping us going. I am so ready for some spring weather so we can get out of this house more. Here are some pic's from our week.

The kitchen sink is our new favorite bath spot. The infant tub just doesn't work well and the big tub is to big, so I got a Rubbermaid rubber sink bottom for traction and is working great.

Miss Campbell in her new highchair. We are still working on spoon feeding. We tried
some carrots the other day and she still is not to sure about it, but we'll keep tryin.

Bailey sayin hi. My girls below.

5 Months Old

On February 28th, 2010 Campbell turned 5 months old. She is changing so much, she is growing out of that newborn baby stage and into the infant stage. She is such a beautiful happy little girl. The biggest thing that has happened this month is that she is now rolling over. Feb. 22nd was the first time and she has been a rollin fool ever since. The only problem is she rolls over, gets stuck and then starts to cry, so you cant go to far away when she's on the floor. She is sleeping thru the night from about 9pm to 9am. She never wakes up in between and it is such a blessing. She is getting a nap schedule down during the day but is still a cat napper. She is one of those babies that can be laid down and she will fall asleep on her own in her crib. I can definitely tell her" I'm tired cry" from her" I'm very upset cry". We have tried to start cereal but that hasn't gone so well. She will swallow but pretty much gags the whole time, even before the food has hit her mouth, it is quite a site to see and I will post that video soon. So in the meantime we have taken a break from it and will try again in a few days. She is eating 6 oz's per feeding and eating every 3-4 hours. I haven't weighed her lately but I have a feeling she has gained a few pounds. She is wearing 6-9 months clothes, which we had none of so I had to do a little shopping. She has discovered her feet and those seem to keep her pretty entertained lately. I think she is going to constantly pull her socks of because she is always pulling at them, but has yet to pull them off. She is so happy and just smiles all the time. She is such a good baby and we love watching her grow.

What is not to love about this beautiful girl, and please notice the oh so cute hair bow that Campbell is sporting. This was mommy's first attempt at a hairbow, although it is a little big, it turned out really cute.

Tutu Cute, that she is.

Busy Busy Busy

Well, we've gone from nothing to do, to busy. I have been meaning to post but just never get around to it. I have been cleaning the garage and house, cleaning out closets and trying to declutter our house. I'm one of those people that likes to hold on to things and I'm really trying to break myself of that. I have been helping my friend/neighbor Megan decorate her house and it is looking great. I am still working and things have started to pick up so I am actually there longer than I am scheduled lately, so I am exhausted by the time I get home, but I have to keep going until Timmy gets home, then I crash. Bailey is starting softball and we will be having practice twice a week. She is so excited about playing softball, which makes me so happy. We have been playing catch and she is starting to get the hang of it. She is a great thrower but we are still rusty on the catching, but she just loves being out their with me and so do I.
I will let her try anything that she wants, the world is her oyster, but I am secretly hoping she loves and excels in softball, follows in her mamas shoes. Timmy also took Bailey to the bank last week so she could open her own savings account. She took in her piggy bank and all our loose change and had a $135 deposit to make. She thought it was the neatest thing, and she is always looking for money to put in her piggy bank now. She asked me what she needed to save her money for so I told her so she could buy a car when she turns 16, her response, mama I don't need a new car I already have a barbie jeep. I had to contain my laugh, it was so cute and serious the way she said it. Campbell is doing great. I'm working on her 5 month update, which she turned Sunday the 28th. Below are some funny pics from the last few weeks.

She fell asleep in her swing, I never heard a peep from her. When I went to check on her this is what I found, sooo cute. I guess the lights where to bright.

Aren't they so precious, especially when their sleeping.

One of Campbell's favorite things is a good comfy receiving blanket. It's so cute when you hand her one she takes it and cuddles. She is also going to be a doll girl, she loves her my first dolly.

She is getting so big. Mommy had to do some shopping to upgrade to 6-9 months clothes, which we have absolutely none of. But you know me I have no problem getting new ones.

We love pink, it's our favorite color.

Peanut Butter and Bologna

No, I am not pregnant. I know that is what many of you might be thinking from the title. The other day I asked Bailey what she wanted for lunch. She said peanut butter, crackers, and bologna. She likes to make her own peanut butter crackers so I gave her a knife and let her go at it. Next thing I know she has cut the bologna up and put it on her crackers with peanut butter. At this point she has not eaten any yet, so I asked are you going to eat that and she said yes. Well, I didn't believe it until I actually saw it, and there she was chomping away enjoying every bite. Hey what can I say, at this point as long as she sits and eats I'm happy.

The cracker sandwiches before being eaten, yummm!!

Yes she was actually eating them, and loving every bite.
