Another Baby Update

Now that I am 31 weeks I have started going to the doctor every 2 weeks, so today was my appointment. Everything was going great until they got to my blood pressure which was 148/88, yes I gasped to. Never has it been that high. It is usually in the low 120's or high teens. So my doctor said he was not concerned yet since there was no protein in my urine and my weight gain was right where he wanted it to be. So he wants me to come back next week to check it again and we will go from there. So its got me a little worried since my sister in law had preclampsia and delivered her baby a month early, I don't really want to go thru that. So keep Campbell in your prayers and I know all work out.

Baby Update

I just realized I haven't done a baby update in so long. I guess because there hasn't been to much to update about. I have been feeling really good except for my back pain which is common. I am in my 30th week and will be at 31 on Sunday. I have started going to the doctor every two weeks now. Not much happens at these appointments they ask how you are, ask if you have any questions, measure you, weigh you. Yes the weighing in part is the highlight of my day, let me tell you. But I'm not complaining because I have only gained 30 pounds and some of you may say, only 30that's alot, well it sure beats the 60 I gained with Bailey. Fortunately I lost it all but it was alot of hard work. But I have the faith and confidence that I will do it again. The other great thing at these appointments is you get to hear the heartbeat which always puts you at ease. I have been feeling her move but its not like hard kicks its more like pressure. It feels like shes rubbing her head against my stomach or rubbing her arm along my belly, its really weird but if gives me reassurance that she's still there.

What I Do

Tim took some pictures of a landscaping job that I did last September. This is a customer of mine that I mow for and he asked if I would do his landscaping. He lives at 30th and Peoria and had just lost some huge trees in the ice storm the winter before, so if you see big brown patches in the yard that is actually a tree stump. He told me that he paid $4,000 to have this tree chopped down after the ice storm, no joke. So Tim took pictures for me the other day since he has taken over for me this summer. When I started this there was nothing there except for the large tree, a dogwood it was a blank canvas, so that will give you some idea of how far its come.

She's So Cute

These are just some cute pictures of Bailey. The other morning she decided that she needed to floss, and then later in the day she found some winter hats and gloves and decided that she should model them for me. As you can see there is never a dull moment at our house. And to think I have another one of these coming.

Baby Bedding

I haven't done much as far as blogging lately because I have been consumed with so much else. One of those things being Campbell's baby bedding. Yes we have decided to name her Campbell Avery Melton, (Cami for short). Tim's mom made Bailey's bedding so she wanted to do the same for Campbell. We are going with a green, brown, and pink thing. The bedding is a pink and brown toile accented by a dark brown polka dot looking fabric and some trim to tie it all together. We have the curtains and the bedskirt done so far and will start the bumper on Monday. Tim's mom and I make a great team I tell her what I want and she sews it, hahaha. But really we have done everything at my house so I am actually learning and doing a little. But I am really thankful that she enjoys doing stuff like this because its something we will have forever and I really enjoy spending time with my mother in law. So this is just a sneek peak.
