Changing Times

Well I know that many of you are wondering where we have been and let me tell you, we have been BUSY! We have encountered many changes in the Melton household. The first is that mommy got a new, job, YEAH! This is something that I have wanted to do for sometime now, but I wanted to find the right fit for me and the girls. I am a Lending Support Specialist with Farm Credit Service in Broken Arrow at 71st and Lynn Lane. It is a normal Mon-Fri 830-5 job and so far I am loving it. It is a whole new ballgame but I really like it so far. Basically I prepare all documents such as abstracts, mortgages, checks, etc for loans, and a whole other list of things as well.

Campbell has started at a new babysitter that is a in home daycare. She is doing very well and already made a new friend who is the same age as her. It has been a bit of an adjustment but we are managing. Tim takes care of the girls in the morning and I have them in the evening along with all their activities. We are finally getting settled after the 3rd week into our new routine and the girls are doing great.
Bailey started playing basketball and she is loving it. She is is such a girly girl but she loves her sports to. She is doing awesome and we are so looking forward to softball that will begin in March.

Campbell is quite the walker these days. She started walking about 3 weeks ago and she hasn't stopped since. She is growing so fast and she is such a fun girl.

Bailey is 6

On December 28, 2010 Bailey turned 6 years old. I cannot believe that this day has come. It always feels like it is forever away but believe me it will sneek right up on you.

Baileys official birthday was the Tuesday after Christmas. She decided that she wanted to eat at the Macaroni Grill so we had a small party there with all the grandparents.

I got Bailey this Barbie case that has all different colors of make-up in it and she was in LOVE with it. I loved it because the colors in it were actually pretty and she didn't look like a clown after putting on the make-up by herself.

Here she is all done, she looks beautiful. She was so proud of herself.

I surprised her with this balloon at the restaurant. I loved the gasp and happy, lighted look on her face, it was priceless.

My 2 Front Teeth

On Christmas night Bailey lost her bottom 2 front teeth. We were watching a movie and all of a sudden she yelled, "I got it." After that she decided that she would pull the other one as well. They had both been loose for awhile but I was really surprised that she pulled them out on her own with no whining, AMAZING!

Christmas Day #1

On Christmas day we had Tim's family over to celebrate with a big dinner and gifts for the kids.

Campbell and her Papa Melton, they are two peas in a pod. I lust love this picture. Papa got her a ball that lights up when it bounces and Campbell just thought it was the funniest thing.

Miss Bailey in her Christmas dress.

I tried getting a pic of all the grand kids together and this is the best I got. I love the way Noah is looking at Bailey like who the heck are you?

AAHHH, another beautiful family moment caught in a picture. We were lucky to get this because it was 8:30pm and we were all exhausted, but it turned out great.

Christmas Morning

We had a great Christmas morning, Bailey wasn't up until 8:00am so I was able to cope. Campbell didn't wake until 9:00am so we enjoyed watching Bailey opening her presents and spending some special time with her. After presents we had a pancake breakfast and spent the morning lounging, watching tv, and playing with toys. It was a great Christmas.

Bailey digging in her stocking.

Ripping thru the paper. She was so excited to find Barbie rain boots.

Campbell was so much fun this Christmas. She loved opening gifts and she would rip the paper right off of things with no help needed. She also loved digging into her stocking to see all the fun things that Santa had left her.

Santa brought Bailey a new desk and some Carebears, which he has been searching for for months. The Carebears were a great success. Santa also brought Campbell a new car. I have talked about the red one we have that I use all the time. We'll we found this one that is bigger than the one we have so she can use it longer and it also has very quite wheels, its awesome. It also has a steering wheel that goes round and round and a horn that sounds like the real thing. Since Campbell loves her red car this one was a huge success. In the picture she is clapping out of pure joy.

Cookies For Santa

One of our Christmas Eve traditions is to make cookies for Santa. We had a very relaxing day on Christmas Eve, we had nothing planned, it was great. So that night we baked away. It seems like the more pictures I take of this beautiful girl the older she looks. I cant believe how grown up she looks.

Bailey made the cookies all by herself. She really loves working in the kitchen. She calls me Big Chef and she's Little Chef.

Our creation is complete and ready to go on the plate for Santa.

And we cant forget the reindeer, they like cookies to, but no icing it weighs down the sleigh, haha!
