Little Valentine

This will be Campbell's 2nd Valentine's Day. Here are some cute pic's that she took with daddy to celebrate.

Sweetheart is the perfect word to describe this precious little girl.

Happy Valentines Day 2011

Yum Yum

Campbell has the best time eating so I figured I should capture it on camera. She is still a picky eater but she has made some major progress. She still eats allot of her fruits and veggies in baby food form. I figure if she will eat a whole jar of mixed veggies than I should thank my lucky stars and feed it to her. She does like bananas, but there is a catch to how she will eat one. She likes for you to leave the rind on and peel it back, the way most people eat them. Then when she has eaten far enough down she will hand it to me to peel back some more. She will end up eating the whole thing, but if you cut it up she wont touch it, crazy child!

This particular meal she was eating spaghetti with meat sauce, and her absolute favorite, toast. Yes you heard me right she goes crazy over toast. She sees me pull out the toaster and she starts jumping up and down pointing at the toaster, and starts yelling mama mama all at the same time. I have to work double time to get it made before she goes bananas, ha!

Along with toast she also enjoys allot of other foods, one that really caught me off guard was sasuage. She loves it and I have no idea why. She has also taken to yogurt, turkey hot dogs, raisins, and she loves ritz wheat crackers. I know these things don't sound very amazing but if you only knew where we started you would totally understand. The other crazy thing is that Campbell will not drink juice. I have tried every kind in every form but she will have nothing to do with it. So we will just stick to the water and milk.

One of Campbell's favorite things to do these days is to say hi and bye to total strangers. When we are at Reasors or Wal-mart she loves waving and saying hi to all the people that pass by. It is the cutest thing ever, especially when she has this giant grin across her face. She also loves saying bye as well. When I pick her up from the sitters the first thing she does after I pick her up is turn to Miss Whitney and say bye bye.

Walking Board

Well the snow is finally melting away but up until this point we have been indoors about 90% of the time. Tim and I have been walking on the treadmill quite often and Bailey has really taken a liking to it as well. One evening she asked if she could walk on the "walking board," as she calls it, and I thought why not. She goes in and walks on the walking board every night for about 15 minutes, its so cute. She says she wants to stay in shape for softball so she can run the bases really fast, and of course you know that I am just grinning from ear to ear!

Piggy Tails

The snow days are definitely getting to us and finding things to do inside is getting scares.  We have had some fun playing beauty shop and Bailey decided that she wanted some piggy tails in her hair.  They turned out really cute and it reminded me of a picture I took of her when she was 2.  She didn't have much hair and I was trying everything to keep it out of her face.  So the above picture is when Bailey was 2 and the bottom is now when she is a big 6 year old girl.  Its so hard to believe how much time had flown by.

More Snow Days

As I mentioned before it can get a bit crazy when the kids get cooped up for to long. Ms. Campbell has done quite well, she has been finding allot to do like riding her dinosaur or roaming around the house naked. Yes, I said naked and then stopping to watch TV for awhile. This was after the fact that she had decided to take her diaper off on her own. How lucky for me that she is so advanced and can already get undressed all by herself, yeah!

And then there is poor Shelby. When she stepped out on the back porch yesterday morning she didn't quite know what to do with herself. Her poor fat body was so cold and she had to pee so bad but there was no where to go, so finally she figured out that she was going to have to cope a squat right there next to the door and that she did. Once we got the driveway cleared off she has had a blast running in the snow, but then after that she is pooped and this is where she can be found in her own warm bed, life is tough let me tell you!

Snow Days

We got out and enjoyed the Blizzard of 2011 today. I think we got about 14 inches or so. We spent allot of the day digging out of our driveway where we had 4 foot snow drifts right outside of our garage. I guess because of the way our house sets and all the blowing snow we had it was a really bad combination for our driveway. We did manage to make a big dent in it but there is still allot to go.

Below is a picture of our back porch, I'm really not sure how deep the snow is but if you look at the above picture you get a pretty good indication. Bailey is standing up in the snow and it is going past her knees, to her waist in some places.

Bailey had a great time playing outside with Shelby. I think they lasted about 20 minutes and then decided they were done. Campbell has watched things from the window which is the safest place for her in my opinion. Tomorrow we plan on making some snow ice cream and no sew blankets, yeah! Tim and I have been home the last two days since both of our places of employment have been closed. I got a call from my boss this evening saying that we would be closed tomorrow as well due to the fact that there is no way to get into our parking lot since the snow plows have piled snow in front of the parking lot entrances. Trust me I did have to hold back the tears, ha! But really two kids plus 3 days stuck in a house with no way out is not a good combination. The icing on the cake is the fact that Broken Arrow called this evening to say there would be no school for the rest of the week. Looks like Timmy will have another take your kid to work day on Friday, have fun!

100th Day of Kindergarten

On Monday Bailey had her 100th day of kindergarten. Its hard to believe this year is more than half over and soon my little one will be a 1st grader, but lets not go there right now. So in honor of this special day the kids were asked to make a project using 100 of something. We decided to make this rainbow with 100 puffy balls in different colors. And to add a special touch we added allot of blue and green glitter. Bailey and I had allot of fun making this project together, rainbows are one of her favorite things.
