Melton Manor

I know that these pictures are long overdue, but here is the up and coming Melton Manor.  We are on a corner and this is the side view.  This has looks small is the front but has length thru the back.  These pictures are not current but I wanted to give you an idea of the house.  We started construction in November and as of now we are about a month or so out.  Currently all the interior trim work and cabinets are being done and the painting will begin next week.  I will start getting pictures posted as things get done.  When there is no sheet rock or walls its hard for people to see what the house will look like.  We are very happy with everything that has gone on with our home.  Our builder has been wonderful and has taken care of everything that we asked or stressed about.  I really have been impressed with all the people that we have worked with from the builder to workers in the house.
We went with a darker brick and ended up adding a real drystack stone on the front entry.  The rock has turned out awesome and I will post a picture soon.

These pictures are not the best but this is the girls favorite part of the house, the stairs!  We also went ahead and did wood stairs after much thought and consideration.  They are currnetly being put on and I cant wait to see them.  I also like how the stairway curves and creates a private upstairs for the girls in the future.  When building this house we tried to think were we would be 5, 10 years from now and as the girls grow their going to need their own room and space.

This is a picture of our front office.  We changed this room quite a bit from the original and plan and I think that it wil end up being my favorite room.  More pictures to come very soon.

Valentine's Day 2013

I had the girls pictures done before Valentine's Day with my good friend Julie Dawkins.  She does these mini sessions around the holidays and they always turn out super cute.  I made a collage and put some of my favorites.  I have also discovered a great place to order pictures called MPIX, love the!.  You order your pictures online but they are great prints at awesome prices.  They just had a 50% off sale for anything 8x10 and over, so I got a  16X20 for about $12.00, awesome!  And like I said the pictures look like they came from your photographer.  They also ship super quick, I got my order in less than a week.  The girls are doing awesome and they are getting along wonderfully.  Campbell loves her big sister and Bailey loves telling Campbell what to do, its a win win.  The month of February has kept us very busy.  We have had basketball, softball, or both everyday of the week.  It has been exhausting but Bailey is loving it and that is all that matters.
