A Sneek Peek!

This coming Saturday is Bailey's year end recital. It will be at the Union Performing Arts Center. They go up on the big stage and it is really cute. Last year they did butterfly ballet and this year they are doing tap. We had pictures and a performance for the parents last Friday. She has done a very good job and I am very proud of her. This may be the last year we do dance becasue she is very ready to play soccer and baseball just like her cousins.

Gavin Turns 5

We had a birthday party for Gavin this past Saturday at Bounce U. They have all these inflatable slides and bouncy things, the kids loved it. He turned 5, and as you will see from the pic below he got what every 5 year old needs for their birthday, a Wii. Its was a fun time that all of us enjoyed.

Fun In The Sun

We've been having some fun in the wading pool since grandma doesn't have her pool open yet. She is having a slight pool malfunction. You see she has this great pool cover that she's used for years, and it has been very effective, it's called the Red Neck Pool Cover System 2000. What you do is place a tarp just a bit bigger than the pool over the pool acting as the "pool cover" you then need to secure this cover somehow, so with the Red Neck Pool Cover System you simply use mulch bags, yes mulch bags. Now these mulch bags are not only for the use of the cover but in the spring they can easily be opened and used in their original form as "mulch." So moving on, we've had so much rain that the weight of the water caused the cover to collapse on one side thus plummeting the mulch bags to the bottom of the pool. So we now have lake water in the pool and mulch, but you cant see where the bags are to get them out. So as of right now mom is draining the pool and then were gonna go from there, so will keep you updated. So in the meantime were using the little pool and Bailey is a having a blast, she loves to put bubbles in her pool, and it does double duty for mean-fun and bathing.

It's A Girl

Yes, it is official we are having another girl, and yes Timmy is fine. He is learning to cope with the news and he is very excited. Bailey got to see her baby sister thru the ultrasound and was so excited when she waved at her, we even have a picture. We are leaning towards the name Campbell (Cami) Avery Melton. I've had that name picked out since Bailey was born so I think it was meant to be. Everything is going well, I just fill big and tired and the fun is just beginning, it's going to be one hot summer. Below is a profile picture of little Cami.

Baby Update

I am now 17 weeks and 2 days along. I went to the doctor last Monday and everything is going very well. I was able to hear the baby's heartbeat and alot of movement, which I am also now feeling. We will do another ultrasound at the next appointment so that we can determine the sex of the baby. Yes, I want to know what it is so that I can prepare. I'm a planner and need the sense of security knowing that I have everything that I will need when we bring our new bundle of joy home. I have started purchasing some things like a stroller and co-sleeper, but I have found that Bailey likes to try out all the things on her baby dolls to make sure that the baby will like it. Her baby doll is currently wearing some of the baby clothes that I purchased, it's so cute. I also have to be careful when taking her shopping because she wants to buy everything that she sees for the new baby. But she is partial to little girls because she keeps picking out these tiny newborn dresses, it's precious. I have been getting very bad headaches and body aches everyday and I'm tired all the time, so I am taking it easy. Other than that all is very well and I am starting to get very excited.
