Sickness

Since I am playing catch up with the last few weeks her are just a few more fun events we had, its called PINK EYE. Oh and it is so fun to put eye drops into a 5 year olds eyes 3 times a day. Last week Bailey was home with a terrible cough on Wednesday so we were put on breathing treatments, and then on Thursday evening she started an awful case of pink eye in both eyes. Thank goodness no one else has gotten it but everyone has had some kind of cough. I am hoping we clear up soon so we can enjoy all the fun activities the next month will bring.

Campbell's Favorite Thing's

Just like Oprah, Campbell has a few of her favorite things that she would like to share. First of all she loves Q-Tips. Yes you heard me right Q-Tips. She loves to pull them out of our bathroom drawer, throw them on the floor, and then proceed to pull the cotton part of by chewing on them. This actually keeps her quite entertained when I am trying to get ready, ha.

She is starting to love the camera and always gives me some kind of facial expression when I say cheese, to cute.

Love this picture!

And finally mommies favorite thing of Campbell's favorite things, I think that makes sense. Anywho, Campbell enjoys not only brushing her teeth as in the picture, but she also likes to pull all the toilet paper off the roll as also seen in the picture. Mommy has gotten quite good at rolling them back up. I guess she'll be a pro at the toilet paper when we start potty training.

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving 2010 Y'all. We have been very busy eating our feasts, as Bailey calls them for the past 2 days. We started out having Tim's family over to our house Wednesday night. I spent the day cooking, cleaning, and trying not to go totally crazy. Unfortunately Tim did not get off of work until 8 but we had a warm plate waiting for him when he got home.

On Thanksgiving day we went down to Okmulgee to my grandma Pats house. Grandma is a big volunteer at the SPCA there and is always some kind of animal there. Lucky for us she had 3 boxer mix puppies. Bailey was glued to the garage where the puppies were kept, she did come into eat but was then right back out the door. And thank you Jesus we made it home with no new family members and no major meltdowns because of it which really surprised me.

And here is Miss Campbell in her Thanksgiving outfit, what a cute little pumpkin. Happy Thanksgiving Y'all.

Pumpkin Patch

A few weeks ago we made a trip to the pumpkin patch. It would have been Campbell's first trip but we went right after church and she fell asleep before we could get there. Bailey on the other hand had a great time and loved looking at all the different pumpkins.

As usual when ever you ask Bailey to take a picture these days she is always ready to strike a pose. She is becoming such a beautiful young lady and I am so proud of her. She is doing very well in school and is still taking a special art class that she loves. She is going to start basketball in December and just like softball I think she is going to do very well. I think she gets all that athletic ability from her mama, haha.

Its hard to believe that my little princess will be 6 years old next month, time flies me trust me. But as much as I miss the baby she once was I am so excited to see the beautiful young lady she is blooming into, I love you Bailey Boo.

Dishes, Cake, and Costumes

We'll as usual it has been crazy around here lately, I don't think that a day goes by that I don't think that I will actually loose my mind. I have found a little relief in the house cleaning department. Bailey decided that she wanted to do the dishes and she was in love, amen thank you Jesus. She loved playing in the water, she says "its so much fun mommy!" I say knock yourself out kid, ha!

We had a Halloween bash at Joe Marina tonight, complete with costume contest, that we won last year as Cinderella. But no such luck this year. Its amazing to me how I can slave and slave making a tooth fairy costume and not win a thing, but a store bought Cinderella costume and your a sure win, who knew? Anyways, Bailey wanted to be the tooth fairy so I made a wand, sweatshirt with a giant tooth that says Tooth Fairy, a goody bag with a giant tooth that says Teeth, and one big fluffy multi-colored, and don't forget glitter filled tutu. But as you can see it was worth all the work and she looks adorable. Miss Campbell is a pumpkin fairy complete with orange wings and tutu. I will be sure to take extra good pics on Halloween to show all my intricate details, ha!

On Tuesday we took Campbell for her 1st birthday pictures so of course we had to have a cake. Since I decided to wait until the last minute I had to decorate the cake myself. So I headed to hobby Lobby and a few hours, some ribbon and scrapbook paper later we have a 1 year birthday cake, and yes I think I should go in the cake decorating business, not baking just decorating, they have a degree for that , right? Oh and by the way after we got to the picture place and were ready for the cake pictures, of course my sweet baby would have nothing to do with it and proceeded to start crying, go figure.
