Sister's and Band-Aid's

I had to share these cute picture's of the girls. They have started playing with each other and it is so sweet. Bailey really likes showing her how all her toys work and Campbell absolutely loves Bailey, she loves to watch her talk, sing, dance, or just be her everyday self, which is always a show in itself.

On Monday we went to Sam's. One of the things that I love about Bailey is her attention to detail, and realizing how much she really takes in and remembers in a day, she has an amazing memory. Bailey loves toys just like any other kid but their is something that she loves even more, doctor stuff. When we go to Wallie World she doesn't ask for a toy, no, she would rather have a box of doctor's gloves. She always asks for them at the doctors office and they are so reluctant to give them to her for the fear that she would choke on them, and I always have to explain, really its ok, she really wants to put them on and pretend she's a doctor. So back to my story, when we were at Sam's she saw these huge first aid kits, I remember that she had pointed them out to me but I didn't think much of it. When we got home she brought this box to me and said she had made her own first aid kit, I was IMPRESSED!!

I of course had her pose with her kit and we put her name on the picture as well. I know these pictures will come in handy one day when she graduates from medical school. :)

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP US

DON'T WORRY WE ARE OK, KIND OF. YOU SEE I NEED TO FIND SOMEONE WHO CAN HELP US GET THIS BUG OUT OF OUR HOUSE, THE STOMACH BUG THAT IS. IT HAS BEEN IN OUR HOUSE FOR JUST OVER 2 WEEKS AND IT IS STARTING TO DRIVE ME CRAZY. FOR SOME STRANGE REASON BAILEY AND I ARE THE ONLY ONE'S WHO SEEM TO FIND IT, THANK GOD CAMPBELL HAS NOT GOTTEN IT. BAILEY JUST GOT OVER IT FOR THE SECOND TIME IN 2 WEEKS AND I CURRENTLY HAVE IT FOR THE SECOND TIME. IT INCLUDES ALL THOSE THINGS YOU ASSOCIATE WITH A STOMACH BUG AND I FINALLY BROKE DOWN AND WENT TO THE DOCTOR SUNDAY. I TOOK BAILEY TO THE ER ON MONDAY BECAUSE SHE WAS SCREAMING FOR 2 HOURS THAT HER STOMACH HURT AND IT WAS ALSO ACCOMPANIED BY SOME NOT SO PLEASANT BODILY FLUIDS FROM THE SOUTH SIDE, IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN. SO I AM ALSO A BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY KIND OF MOMMY SO I TOOK HER IN AND WOULDN'T YOU KNOW ONCE WE GOT THERE SHE WAS A DIFFERENT CHILD AND WAS TOTALLY FINE. I ENDED UP LOOKING LIKE THE CRAZY LADY WHO BROUGHT IN A PERFECTLY FINE CHILD, THAT'S JUST HOW IT USUALLY Y WORKS FOR ME.
SO, UNFORTUNATELY THIS MORNING RIGHT AFTER HER BREAKFAST CAMPBELL THREW UP ALL OVER HER MOMMY. I'M NOT SURE IF IT WAS BECAUSE SHE WAS BOUNCING RIGHT AFTER SHE ATE OR HER TUMMY IS UPSET, BUT I AM PRAYING THAT IT DOESN'T HAPPEN AGAIN. AFTER CLEANING UP ALL THESE BODILY VACATIONS FOR THE LAST TWO WEEKS I REALLY NEED A VACATION.

I DID HAVE A GREAT MOTHER'S DAY EVEN THOUGH I DID HAVE TO WORK. TIM AND THE GIRLS CAM UP TO SEE ME AND BROUGHT ME THESE BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS ALONG WITH SOME CARDS AND CANDY. BAILEY MADE THE LITTLE FLOWER POT AT SCHOOL AND PLANTED THE FLOWER HERSELF, SO CUTE, THOSE ARE THE VERY BEST GIFTS.

MISS CAMPBELL DID HAVE HER VERY FIRST COLD. I AM NOT GOING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THIS BECAUSE I AM SO THANKFUL WE MADE IT THRU FLU SEASON WITHOUT A RUNNY NOSE OR EVEN A COUGH. BAILEY HAS NOT BEEN SICK UNTIL THIS POINT EITHER SO I HAVE BEEN VERY LUCKY. SOME OF YOU MAY BE ASKING WHAT MY SECRET IS AND REALLY I DON'T HAVE ONE. I GUESS IT COULD BE THAT I AM NOT THE TYPE TO TRY AND SHIELD THEM FROM EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING. I BELIEVE IN THE 5 SECOND RULE IF SOMETHING FALLS ON THE FLOOR, WITHIN REASON, DEPENDS ON THE FLOOR AND THE LOCATION. BUT I JUST DON'T FREAK OUT ABOUT PEOPLE HOLDING THEM AND I REALIZE THAT THINGS WILL HAPPEN

THIS IS MISS CAMPBELL DURING HER COLD. HER EYES WERE SO RED AND WATERY AND HER NOSE WOULD JUST RUN. WE DID GO TO THE DOCTOR AND ALL LOOKED WELL, SO THINGS CLEARED UP IN ABOUT 4 DAYS.

WE ALSO HAD A GARAGE SALE IN THE PAST FEW WEEKS, IT WAS A HUGE SUCCESS. CAMPBELL DECIDED THAT SHE WANTED TO TRY OUT SOME OF HER SISTERS TOYS. SHE REALLY LOVED SITTING IN THE BARBIE JEEP. IT'S AMAZING HOW MUCH BAILEY IS GROWING, SHE CAN HARDLY SIT IN THIS THING ANYMORE BECAUSE SHE IS GETTING SO TALL. CAMPBELL IS ALSO GETTING VERY TALL, I AM AMAZED WHEN I LOOK AT HER IN HER CAR SEAT, HER LITTLE LEGS JUST HANG OUT AND DANGLE, TIME FOR AN UPGRADE.

A Week At The Park

Yes, we have spent a week at the softball fields. We had games Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. In addition we got to sit out in all this crazy wind we've had all week, especially tonight, it was awful. But Bailey has a great time so it is well worth it. Wednesday night Bailey got to play catcher, which she loved. She is one of those kids that you just have to give her something to do or she gets really bored, or maybe that's all 5 year olds. So she is not a happy camper in the outfield, usually she ends up throwing dirt and rocks, or picking grass and flowers, its very entertaining. But, its t-ball so not much, if anything, makes it to the outfield. All the girls have improved so much since they first started in March and they really have a great team. All the girls get along and have a great time together. Next week is our final week of games, I can't believe it's already over, boo hoo.

A Week of Crazy

Well it has been another week of crazy at the Melton household. Jenny, Tim's sister had an emergency inducement, I think that's a word. Tuesday she went in for her weekly check-up and her blood pressure had sky rocketed. This in combination with the gestational diabetes she has due to pregnancy made for a bad formula, so she was induced and Mr. Noah was born Tuesday evening around 8:30pm. He weighed 5lbs 5oz's and is 18 inches long. He has some major jet black hair and mother and baby are doing great. So Preston stayed the night with us on Tuesday while mommy and daddy were busy at the hospital. He and Bailey played prince and princess. I believe this was Baileys choice of festivities for the evening. Bailey would fall on the floor and play dead and tell Preston she was waiting for her prince to wake her, how, I dare not ask. They were singing and dancing having a grand ol time. I know this picture is going to come in very handy one day, perhaps graduations or weddings?

I have been trying to convert Miss Campbell to her crib for one very good reason, SHE IS HUGE and the pack-n-play just isin't cutting it anymore. She is growing like a weed, she is into some 12 months clothes and I think were gonna have to go to size 4 diapers. I went to check on her today while she was napping and she was in the cutest position. She had her butt flying high in the air fast asleep.

7 MONTHS OLD

ON APRIL 28, 2010 CAMPBELL TURNED 7 MONTHS OLD. IT IS SO AMAZING TO WATCH A CHILD GROW AND TO SEE HOW THEY LEARN AND DEVELOP EVERY MONTH. IT IS AMAZING TO SEE THAT 7 SHORT MONTHS AGO SHE HAD JUST ENTERED THE WORLD AND NOW SHE IS LAUGHING, SMILING, AND MELTING ALL OF OUR HEARTS.

I AM SO BLESSED TO HAVE TWO BEAUTIFUL, HAPPY, AND HEALTHY CHILDREN. I THANK GOD EVERYDAY FOR THEM AND I AM SO HAPPY THAT GOD PLACED THEM IN MY LIFE. LIFE IS FILLED WITH UPS AND DOWNS OF EVERY SIZE BUT I AM SO THANKFUL THAT I HAVE MY FAMILY TO SHARE IT ALL WITH, LOVE YOU GUYS.

MISS CAMPBELL IS GROWING AND GROWING. SHE IS 20 LBS AND WEARING 9-12 MONTH CLOTHES. SHE IS WEARING A SIZE 4 DIAPER. SHE HAS TOTALLY TAKEN TO EATING AND THERE REALLY ISN'T ANYTHING THAT SHE DOESN'T LIKE. SHE STILL EATS ABOUT 6 OZ'S PER FEEDING AND IS VERY INTERESTED IN US WHILE WERE EATING. SHE IS STILL SLEEPING GREAT AT NIGHT AS WELL. I AM STILL FINDING IT VERY HARD TO MOVE HER TO HER BEDROOM ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE HOUSE SO FOR NOW SHE WILL STAY IN THE PACK-N-PLAY NEXT TO MOMMY AND DADDY.

SPEAKING OF DADDY, CAMPBELL IS SUCH A DADDY'S GIRL. THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE WITH EACH OTHER. I LOVE TO SEE THE SMILE ON HER FACE WHEN SHE SEE'S HIM WALK IN THE ROOM. TIM IS SUCH A GREAT DAD AND THAT IS REFLECTED IN THE RELATIONSHIP HE HAS WITH HIS GIRLS. SINCE HE WORKS SUCH LONG HOURS HE REALLY ENJOYS GETTING CAMPBELL READY FOR BED EACH NIGHT. HE BATHES HER, FEEDS HER, AND SINGS SONGS TO HER TO PUT HER TO SLEEP (ITSY BITSY SPIDER IS THEIR FAVORITE), ITS SO PRECIOUS, AND CAMPBELL LOVES EVERY MINUTE OF IT. HER FAVORITE PLACE TO SLEEP IS ON DADDY'S CHEST AND BAILEY'S IS RIGHT NEXT TO HIM SNUGGLING AS CLOSE AS SHE CAN. TIM IS ALWAYS THERE TO HELP; CHANGING DIAPERS, FEEDING, DRESSING, SHOWING UP AT DOCTORS APPOINTMENTS WITHOUT BEING ASKED. HE DOES SO MUCH TO HELP ME SO I DON'T FEEL STRESSED BY IT ALL AND I CAN TRULY SAY I DON'T KNOW WHAT I WOULD DO WITHOUT HIM. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO I LOVE YOU SO MUCH.

SHE LOVES TO BE IN HER BABY EINSTEIN JUMPEROO. SHE WILL GET IN THAT THING AND JUST BOUNCE, BOUNCE, BOUNCE. SHE IS NOT ONE TO SIT AND PLAY SHE REALLY ENJOYS BEING UP AND ON HER FEET, BUT I'M NOT PUSHING THE WALKING THING YET. SHE IS SO HAPPY AND JUST HAS THE BEST PERSONALITY. SHE'S ALWAYS OPEN TO MEETING SOMEONE NEW AND IS EASILY MAKING FRIENDS. SHE LOVES HER BIG SISTER. BAILEY LIKES TO DANCE AND SING FOR HER AND CAMPBELL WILL WATCH HER AND BREAK OUT IN A LAUGH. I DON'T KNOW WHAT IT IS ABOUT BAILEY BUT SHE CAN MAKE CAMPBELL LAUGH JUST BY LOOKING AT HER.

I ALWAYS TRY TO TAKE PICTURES OF CAMPBELL SMILING, BUT I HAVE COME TO LEARN, THAT IS GOING TO BE IMPOSSIBLE. CAMPBELL'S SMILE IS HER MOUTH WIDE OPEN. SO IF YOU SEE HER AND SHE LOOKS LIKE SHE IS SAYING AAAHHH-SHE'S REALLY GIVING YOU A SMILE :)

No Boys Allowed!

This is the sign that Bailey currently has hanging on her door. It is a boy with an X through it, it means, as I am told, NO BOYS ALLOWED IN MY BEDROOM!! Lets just see if its still hanging there when she's 16, ha!

Noah's Baby Shower

We had a baby shower for Tim's sister, Jennifer, on Sunday. She is expecting a boy, Noah, he will be arriving the first of May. We are super excited to meet Mr. Noah, and we are so excited that he and Campbell will be able to be so close just like Bailey and Preston, who are 3 weeks apart in age. Preston and Bailey love each other so much and I know that Noah and Campbell will be the same way.

This was Jenny's 3rd shower so we just had a simple get together with family, and of course we had food and cake.

The cake was made at my favorite place, Merritt's. They make the neatest cakes and they always taste so good.

This is Jenny, by the way we call her Jenny and me Jennifer so that way we know who we are talking about so we don't have to clarify all the time. So this is Jenny and her mom, Cathy, a.k.a. Mam Maw. Congratulations Jenny we are so excited for you.
