Soccer

We gave up dance this year to tryout soccer, and so far things are going well. Bailey really seems to like it. They had their second game this past Saturday and there making progress. You can imagine what it's like watching 4 year olds learn the concept of playing soccer, total craziness. Bailey did score 3 goals in her first game, but no luck in the second, but she had lots of fun.

Bailey's First Day of School

I am playing catch up with my blogs so bare with me. This is Bailey's first day of school. She is technically in pre-k but we decided to keep her at the preschool that she has gone to for the last two years. They have a pre-K program and I was worried about all the changes that she is going to encounter in the coming months, so I thought it would be best to keep as much the same as possible. She really loves her school as you can see from the pictures.

I am a terrible blogger

I have been so consumed with everything going on that I haven't been blogging. I still can't download pictures, but I am working on it. But just want to let everyone know we do have an offical date--- Monday, September 28, 2009 Campbell Avery Melton will be making her grand entrance into the world. She will be delivered at Southcrest at 7:00am. So I am getting all the last minute details done and trying not to get to nervous. It's easier knowing what to expect but also worrisome that I can handle two and give them all they need.

Baileys Pictures

We had Bailey's pictures done awhile back and I wanted to let everyone know so they can check them out. A friend from high school, Betsy, did them and she did an awesome job. I cant decide what I want, she is really talented. So go to betsygregoryphotography.com. In the the upper right corner click sign in and enter info user: twomeltons@aim.com, password:Bailey.

No Baby Yet!

I have been in computer hiding the last few weeks. We have had some issues with our computer and I haven't been able to use it. I can now use it but cant post pictures yet. So here's a quick update. Bailey started school-she is in pre-k but is still going to St. Stephens where she went last year. I was afraid that to much change would be just that, to much, with the baby and all so she will go to BA next year. She is doing very well and is very excited for the baby to come. She keeps looking at my stomach and saying momma shes gettin really big in there, its so cute. We have had some nervous moments with the baby. I spent the afternoon in the hospital a week ago because my blood pressure has been up. All my tests came out great and Campbell looked great on the monitor so they sent me home and told me to take it easy. Now my glucose is up but the doctor is just watching me close since there isn't much else he can do. But I am doing ok and happy to report that a c-section date has been set for the 27th.

Another Baby Update

Now that I am 31 weeks I have started going to the doctor every 2 weeks, so today was my appointment. Everything was going great until they got to my blood pressure which was 148/88, yes I gasped to. Never has it been that high. It is usually in the low 120's or high teens. So my doctor said he was not concerned yet since there was no protein in my urine and my weight gain was right where he wanted it to be. So he wants me to come back next week to check it again and we will go from there. So its got me a little worried since my sister in law had preclampsia and delivered her baby a month early, I don't really want to go thru that. So keep Campbell in your prayers and I know all work out.

Baby Update

I just realized I haven't done a baby update in so long. I guess because there hasn't been to much to update about. I have been feeling really good except for my back pain which is common. I am in my 30th week and will be at 31 on Sunday. I have started going to the doctor every two weeks now. Not much happens at these appointments they ask how you are, ask if you have any questions, measure you, weigh you. Yes the weighing in part is the highlight of my day, let me tell you. But I'm not complaining because I have only gained 30 pounds and some of you may say, only 30that's alot, well it sure beats the 60 I gained with Bailey. Fortunately I lost it all but it was alot of hard work. But I have the faith and confidence that I will do it again. The other great thing at these appointments is you get to hear the heartbeat which always puts you at ease. I have been feeling her move but its not like hard kicks its more like pressure. It feels like shes rubbing her head against my stomach or rubbing her arm along my belly, its really weird but if gives me reassurance that she's still there.
