Stylish

Bailey has a new saying, "mommy this is stylish." When we go shopping she shows me things and with the most serious look on her face she says, "mommy, this is very stylish, lets get it." I have to keep myself from cracking up because she is just being herself and I don't want her to think that I am making fun of her. So I just nod and say yes, your right, I like that to. She just gets this big grin on her face, she is just growing up so fast. So the other morning we were getting ready to leave for school, which we don't dress up for because they play outside allot and she is usually covered in dirt and paint when I pick her up. But she comes in the room and asked if she looked stylish, and of course I said yes, she said that she was going to wear this to school, so I said well we must get a picture first. She was ready to strike a pose, and we headed off to school, stylish.

Miss Campbell was also very stylish that day, she sported her first ponytail. And the amazing thing is that it stayed in all day long. We are finally able to wear our bows again.

She just looked to cute in her puppy towel after bath the other night so we had to grab a picture, so cute.

A Week of First's

Well it has been a very busy week. We have been a couple of busy bee's lately, just going and going. Bailey has games on Monday's and Thursdays, and we have started going to church on Wednesday nights, which Bailey loves. Business is picking up for Tim, slightly, keep prayin for us on that subject, and my work has gone into complete insanity. We had our biggest sales day ever this past Saturday, so I have been very busy counting all that money. I have been working overtime lately just to keep up. And on top of that I have returned to the lawn mowing field. So in my spare time, ha, I have been scalping yards and cleaning flower beds. Which reminds me, I was at one of my customers homes the other day, he lives at 30th and Woodward. I LOVE this area of Tulsa, it is one street over from 30th and Peoria, and the houses in that area are BEAUTIFUL. I love the older homes with all their character and charm. I really love all the huge trees and beautiful lawns, its like a mexican fiesta over their with all the lawn crews, haha. Anyways, I thought I had seen it all but I was wrong. Their was a lady walking her little poodle like dog, but she wasn't walking it with a leash, but a doggy bjorn. Yes you heard me right, it looked like a baby bjorn, but for a dog. It was like a red front pack and this little dog just sat in the front pouch. Now when I saw this I thought, "you have got to be kidding me, really?" Only on that side of town would you see something like that.

Moving on, Bailey had three awesome hits in her game last night. We have been practicing everyday, she always asks to go out and practice, which makes me so happy that she really wants to do this and I'm not just dragging her out to do it. But I was trying to get her to hit the ball hard, and she finally caught on yesterday, yeah!

Miss Campbell has been a very busy bee this last week. She is now rolling over from stomach to back, not just back to stomach. She also slept in her crib for the first time Sunday night. She slept the whole night and did great. I however was a nervous wreck, I slept in Bailey's room so that I could hear her, since I don't have a monitor. I have decided that I need to have another shower, an infant shower, there are alot of things I really need like a monitor, car seat and so on and so on, so whoever wants to throw that for me that would be great, ha ha ha!

We also had a tooth appear this week. If you look on the right side you can see a faint white tooth. She has been doing very well with it, and hasn't been cranky or anything like that, thank goodness.

Miss Campbell has also started sitting up and can do so for a few minutes at a time, she really likes being upright. And please notice the oh so cute blanket that Mam maw Melton made. It's so fuzzy and soft, thanks Mam maw she loves it.

I took these pictures this morning while she and Bailey were watching cartoons, just to cute.

Gosh, I wish I could do that, I'm so jealous of baby flexibility, ha!

6 Months Old

On March 28th Campbell turned 6 months old. I guess I should start out by filling you in on the biggest change this little girl has encountered this month. Campbell has found her voice, and its not just any voice, but its her screaming voice. Oh my, it is the most awful high pitched noise you have ever heard. She has realized that crying will leave you waiting for awhile, but if you scream right off the bat then mommy gets their a whole lot faster.

She is starting to enjoy eating, I guess that an understatement, she loves it. She's gone from gagging to inhaling it within the last month. We are still doing cereal but we have also has bananas, sweet potato, and her favorite applesauce.

We did have our shots last Friday, along with our flu shot, just in case. She was a bit fussy for a few days but all is back to normal now. She is a perfectly healthy girl with a large head, yes that means she is very smart, I know you were wondering that. Here are her measurements.

Weight 18 5.5 lbs (75%)
Length 27 inches (90%)
Head 46 inches (100%) super smartness

She is rolling over from back to stomach , but she gets stumped after that and starts screaming for help. She sits up with support, but is getting stronger everyday. I am in no hurry for her to reach all these milestones. She loves to laugh and does so all the time. She is in love with her big sister, and just watches her whenever she is around. I have learned after having one child already that your so anxious to see them reach their milestones and then one day you realize they aren't a baby anymore and you wish that you could go back, so she can take her sweet time growing up as far as mommy is concerned. But I have to say the lord has blessed me with a great sleeper, she goes down at 9pm and wakes around 8:30am, thank you Jesus.

Easter Afternoon

We headed over to my folks Easter afternoon for dinner. We had all the family together for some Easter fun. I didn't get any pictures of the boys or much of anything for that matter, I was to busy chit chatting today, so sorry for more pics of my kids. Anyways Bailey asked my mom for a basket and the next thing I know she walks in the room with this giant one, she thought she had hit the jackpot.
It was so nice out this afternoon, we hung outside for awhile and Tim and Bailey practiced softball. Miss Campbell loves playing horsey with her daddy, it just cracks her up.

Precious, she loves her daddy so much.

There's nothing sexier than a man with a pink bat, baby #3 may be on the way soon, just kidding.

And of course at the end of a long day we always let the children drive home.

More Easter

Easter Morning

We had a great Easter, Bailey woke me at 7 am to let me know the Easter bunny had come, yeah!!
She got tons of stuff including her favorite, the Chipmunks Squekal, which we have watched all day long. We headed off to church, somewhere we plan on going to alot more often, I might add Bailey loves church. I got to see alot of old friends I haven't seen in years.
The girls in their Easter dresses, ready for church.

Almost a great picture, except for Miss Crabbie Apple.

Bailey's First Softball Game

Bailey had her first softball game Monday night and she loved every minute of it. She played first base and got 2 outs and scored 3 runs. Mommy is so proud of her and so glad that she loves softball.
A quick pose before the game.

Bailey and her Grandma Melton. (Tim's mom)

Campbell and daddy hanging out at the fields.

Campbell, daddy, and Grandma B.

Gettin ready to bat.

Great hit.

Bailey on second base.

Coach giving her some pointers on first base.

Stopping for a pose while playing first base, I really shouldn't distract her, oops.

Lining up for their good game, hand slap.

One happy little girl.
